A group of plants found in the northern part of the Northern Province on the cliffs bordering the Kruger National Park. A part of this border is formed by the Levuvhu River with steep cliffs bordering the Levuvhu river. The colony of plants was found on some of these steep cliffs.
These plants have long stems up to 4 meters long. The scales on the stems are relatively small resembling E. eugene maraisii. The leaves are blue in colour with sometimes a greenish undertone depending on the amount of sun.
The leaves resemble both E. dyerianus and E. eugene maraisii, but when displayed together, the differences are easily distinguished.
The male cones are relatively small, and green in colour.
